Therapeutic indications: mild to moderate pain, inflammation and fever. The medication refers to a group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Their function is to reduce the levels of prostaglandins, or in other words, chemicals that are responsible for pain, fever and inflammation.

The active ingredients of the medication blocks the enzyme that makes prostaglandins (cyclooxygenase), making the concentrations of the latter less and therefore reducing the symptoms of inflammation, pain and fever and relieving the condition. FDA-approved in December, 1991.

The administration mode: take the drug with washed down with water and make sure you do not make any transformation to a pill.

The medication is generally taken when needed and therefore there is no need in a dosing schedule. However, if you take the drug on a regular basis it is recommended that you do not miss any doses. But is you skipped a dose do not make up for the left out dose taking double.

Make sure the kids and pets have no access to the drug. It requires darkened, chilled and dry place for storage.
