Therapeutic indications: severe acne in those patients who do not respond to other such drugs.
The medication refers to a retinoid group and functions by reducing skin oil production. It actually alters the skin oil characteristics and keeps the skin from abnormal hardening.
The way of administration: the drug should be taken twice a day with food without any change made to a tablet. Wash it also with water. After the therapy ends make a “rest period” for two months. Further administration should be discussed with the doctor.
Make sure you do not drink alcohol during the therapy period.
Left out dose should be taken as soon as possible unless it is the time for the next one. Do not double the doses.
The drug should be kept at temperature of 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) in a dark, cool and dry place away from access of kids and pets.
