Atarax

Like any other antihistamine Atarax affects the brain and makes it reduce anxiety. It also reduces pain and relieves allergic reactions, opens breathing channels and prevents nausea and vomiting because of motion sickness.

This medication treats anxiety, it also sedates patients before taking general anesthesia and also after it, to treat itching caused by some allergic reaction, including hives and contact dermatitis (eg, poison ivy). This drug is also used for other conditions if prescribed by your doctor.

You'd better not use Atarax if you have allergy to an ingredient that Atarax contains, if you take sodium oxybate (GHB), and if you are pregnant (first 3 months)

If you fall into these conditions immediately contact your doctor or health care provider.

Only those people who are prescribed to Atarax can use it. If it doesn't help to get rid of the symptoms or reduce them, and also if it worsenes certain symptoms contact the doctor.
