Clarinex

Clarinex has an antihistamine effect. It suppresses the natural chemical histamine that somehow appeared in the body. Watery eyes, runny nose, itching and sneezing are the result of a histamine acting in your body.

Drug is recommended for treating the symptoms mentioned above. These are itching, sneezing, runny nose and watery/red eyes. Skin hives and chronic skin reactions are also treated by taking Clarinex.

This drug is not appropriate for children under 2 years old except for the cases when the medication is prescribed by the doctor.

Phenylalanine can be an ingredient in Desloratadine disintegrating tablets (Clarinex RediTabs). Ask the doctor before taking such type of desloratadine if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).
You'd better not use Clarinex if you have allergy to desloratadine or to loratadine (Claritin).
